Metal Tuesday / Oct. 16th @ Silverlake Lounge

My Tuesday night was filled with some ultra sludgy and delightfully heavy sounds, thanks to my hometown's (Ventura) The F*cking Wrath, Hull (from Brooklyn, NY), Behold! The Monolith, and Destroy Judas.
I tend to nest at home during the weekdays. BUT! Being that the show was so close to home, AND it was the first metal show I've heard of at the Silverlake Lounge, I had to grab my camera (and earplugs) and roll out to the show. It was a great decision and it was really nice to catch up with friends and meet some new faces.

Here's a batch of images of Hull

Comedy By the Pool

This was definitely a first. My boyfriend's friend Tyler Ross invited us to his home for some comedy by the pool, hosted by the Power Violence guys. Music, poolside (which was a daunting shade of green), nice people, and of course, funny people.
